About · the person behind the projects
Hi, I'm Youp. I learn by building things.
I have a huge passion for anything technical. I love starting my own projects, figuring out how they work and sharing the useful—and sometimes embarrassing—parts online.
Why I share
Anyone can make something cool by giving it a real try.
YoupSpace started as a place to bring my ideas together and make them accessible to other people who enjoy technology and design. It is both a space about rockets and literally Youp's space for projects, experiments and files.
I share my builds because I hope they help or inspire someone else to start. It is never too late to learn a new skill, design a PCB or build the first rough version of an idea.
Things do not always work out. I have had cameras fail, circuits overheat and plans change after a test. Those moments are not something I want to hide: they are usually where the most useful learning happens.

Maker Days · September 2025
A very special moment in the AstroNav story.
I displayed AstroNav at Maker Days Eindhoven, where it was nominated for an Innovation Award. I received the title Best Maker 2025, and the jury response showed me that the story behind a project matters too.
